2017 Production Capacity Expansion
In May 2017, SILCAR inaugurated its second production hall, covering an area of 1,500 m² in Panic, Romania, equipped with fully automated technologies.
In May 2017, SILCAR completed the construction of a new production hall of a 1,500 m² in Panic, Sălaj County, dedicated to manufacturing outward-opening window systems and aluminium cladding solutions ALUCLIP and ALUCLIP PRO. This investment was undertaken to meet the exacting standards of the UK, Irish, French, Italian and Swiss markets.
The hall is fitted with fully automated production lines, including four-head invisible-weld machines and CNC cutting and machining centres integrated with robots for hardware assembly. Advanced technologies are also employed for the fabrication of insulating glass units with the “Super Spacer” warm-edge spacer and for the robotic aluminium cladding of PVC profiles, featuring 45° mitre joints.
This production-capacity expansion underscores SILCAR’s commitment to technological innovation and its ability to adapt to international market requirements, thereby ensuring the highest levels of quality and operational efficiency.
