SILCAR History:

  • 1991SILCAR was founded in Zalău, Sălaj County, initially specializing in the production of laminated timber components.

  • 2004-2006 – The company diversified its product range, with PVC joinery featuring insulated glazing becoming a key part of sales.

  • 2005-2011 – During this period, the company underwent a series of transformations and investments, propelling it to a leadership position in the field in Sălaj County.

  • 2015 – Production was moved to a modern production hall with a total area of 2500 sqm, and the offices were relocated to a new building in Panic, Sălaj County (on the Zalău-Satu Mare European road).

  • 2016 – Production capacity was doubled to over 300 doors and windows per day.

  • Present – The company operates 4 automated production lines, ensuring high standards of quality control.

  • April 2017 – The construction of a new production hall with an area of 1500 sqm was completed.

  • 2017 – The SILCAR dealer network surpassed 150 active firms in the PVC window and door installation industry.

  • End of 2017 – Unique technologies and products were introduced in Romania:

    • PVC windows with aluminum cladding – fully automated (45-degree joint)

    • Insulated glazing units with warm edge spacer "Super Spacer" – fully automated

    • Windows with outward opening

  • 2022 – Development of premium aluminum residential doors, cladded with aluminum sheets on both sides, began.

  • 2023 – We expanded our product portfolio to include aluminum pivot doors from REYNAERS.

  • 2025 – Geographic expansion started, with the construction of a new hall dedicated to aluminum joinery production.
